*New Signup thread - please confirm if you will still be able to make it - we also still need more signups*
Hello again.
Now this weeks choice of game won't be popular with everyone but I'm going to depart from Sourcemods this week as otherwise that'll probably be all we end up playing. This game is currently in Open Beta and may not be free for much longer so now is the perfect time for this...
The game for this Midweek Mashup is - Heroes of Newerth
The signups are going to be open to everyone - all skill levels. If you're a total noob or think you're pro feel free to signup - I'm looking for as many signups as I can and will run as many games as I can fill.
This is primarily intended as a learning exercise. The idea is to get people a bit more accustomed to HoN and teach some basics. Afterwards we may have a fun game to test out some of the newfound skils. The event isn't only for total noobs though as even intermediate players can learn a lot from some of our really good players.
For this event I'd also like to request some volunteer teachers - we have some really good players and they are very good people to learn from. I've asked a few people over Steam and depending on the amount of signups we get I'll ask more people.
So yes. HoN-time. I know this choice of game won't be popular with everyone, but please don't come in and slag the game off. This is a signup thread, and I think people can learn a lot from this if it goes well.

Rules for The Midweek Mashup: -Make sure you have whatever you need BEFORE the event is due to start – we will not wait for you if you aren't ready. -If you don't show up you will NOT be playing in the event the following week – No excuses. -Anyone who signs up must also come on Ventrilo for the duration of the event – Even if you don't have a mic – Vent details can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5520 -Please try and show up 10-15 minutes before the event is due to start

I have an exam the day after, the first of my final year ones, so it would be best if you took me off the ringer list.
Ok cheers you 3 for replying, the rest of you let me know, either on steam or here whether you are coming or not
Still slots free! Once in a lifetime oppurtunity to be taught by our good players before they banish all noobs from their presence... However many people I get I will organise that many slots so as many people can sign up as want to play
