Ok...this week we will be playing...Hedgewars!

Some of you have probably played this already - It's basically Worms, a game everyone knows and loves.

The format for this is going to be a mini-tournament (thanks Sarge). I'm working on exactly how this will work at the moment and will post details when I've worked it out (suggestions welcome)

Instead of linking to the site for the download, I'm going to be lazy and just link you to frog's post on the game. Download links etc are in the first post in the thread.

Please, please, please give me about a days notice if you can't make it - I had to scrabble around for people for the last one and it wasn't cool - This is a warning...lol

Rules for The Midweek Mashup:
-Make sure you have whatever you need BEFORE the event is due to start – we will not wait for you if you aren't ready.
-If you don't show up you will NOT be playing in the event the following week – No excuses.
-Anyone who signs up must also come on Ventrilo for the duration of the event – Even if you don't have a mic – Vent details can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5520
-Please try and show up 10-15 minutes before the event is due to start

Oooo, yes please sign me up.

Could do teams of 3 people on the team fort mode. Then just do each team plays each other once, highest amount of wins takes it. Could have a most surviving worms tie-break if you really wanted to be sure of declaring a winner too. :)

Yeah this is pretty much what I was thinking and what Sarge suggested - probably default weapons as well, or a slightly modified version, so there's no overpowered ballgun madness :P

Teams of 3 mean the games should be over pretty fast as well

Erm, I made a mistake, woops, I meant to put this on for Wednesday but in my tired state I put Thursday instead - those who have signed up so far, can you still make Wednesday?

*edit - haha so the redirect from hampshireheavies to thehh has finally been sorted properly! I sense that this post was the catalyst hehe and that there was some froggy intervention behind the scenes ;)
