It's DJ Extra Cold on the mashup this week, it's TF2 with a twist.
--Team Fortress Lighhander--
THERE CAN ONLY BE......SEVERAL!!
The what: We all know and love Highlander, one of every class on a team, creating a harmony of balanced and varied gameplay.
But what if this was turned on its head?
In this game mode one team will play Team lighHander, this team can only be one class at a time, all spy, all heavy, all demo, all engy. This team also has to change class every round and cannot play the same class twice in one map. This team may also get one or two more players depending on how things shape up.
The other team will play Team Comp: Team Comp will be more balanced and have the standard 6 or 7 man competition class limits etc. This means they will have ubers, be able to vary their attack pattern, pick classes to exploit the weakness of the class and use their cunning to try and win vs Team lighHander!!
Don't think to yourselves that you can just stand there spamming, Team lighHander, your team will have one giant class weakness, your going to have to be cunning as well to cover for it!
The why: This should create a huge amount of variety each round, tactics will have to change every time on both teams to play to the relative strengths and weaknesses of each class. Since it's mandatory to change every round and the same class can't come up twice in the same map a long match with one team playing demos only for 2 hours won't happen. While this is a serious match it will also be very very silly, especially the spy rounds
.The how: Sign up on this thread stating which team you would like to be on, Team Comp or Team lighHander. Please also state 2 classes with your highest preference first incase we have too many of Team L or your signing up for Team Comp.
Please also state a map that you would like to play on.
The Usual Rules for The Midweek Mashup Apply:
-Make sure you have whatever you need BEFORE the event is due to start – we will not wait for you if you aren't ready.
-If you don't show up you will NOT be playing in the event the following week – No excuses.
-Anyone who signs up must also come on Ventrilo for the duration of the event – Even if you don't have a mic – Vent details can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5520
-Please try and show up 10-15 minutes before the event is due to start
