Dystopia is a cyberpunk themed total conversion of Half Life 2, created by an amature development team and released to the public for free.
Dystopia places the player into tense combat situations in a high tech world spanned by computer networks. As either Punk Mercenaries or Corporate Security Forces the player will fight through the physical world to gain access, via jack-in terminals, to cyberspace.
Team format will be 7 v 7 or possibly 8 v 8 if we can get the numbers.
Since dystopia is a complicated game with a steep learning curve I would heavily reccomend getting some practice in.
To that end add me on steam and at some point from sunday onwards I will run a couple of friendlies on the HH dystopia server (thehh.co.uk:27055) which I will start up as and when people are available, this should help me get a feel for peoples strengths and balance the teams for wed.
Usual start time of 8pm (read: 7:45 please) and usual mwm rules apply -Make sure you have whatever you need BEFORE the event is due to start – we will not wait for you if you aren't ready. -If you don't show up you will NOT be playing in the event the following week – No excuses. -Anyone who signs up must also come on Ventrilo for the duration of the event – Even if you don't have a mic – Vent details can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5520 -Please try and show up 10-15 minutes before the event is due to start
Dystopia is downloaded straight off steam so just do a search for it on there to get it.
