At long last the midweek mash up is back, this time it's Zombie panic source, a personal favorite of mine.
The game pitches 2 sides against one another, Humans who have all the guns, and the undead who have a nasty case of rigamorits. To best explain how to play this mod here is a very nice tutorial from the makersthemselves.

Zombies have zombo vision, it acts like a sort of night vision lighting up the map, it also lights up human players with a bright red color meaning as a human you cannot simply hide in a dark corner because you can be seen, Infected humans will be a bright green colour don't kill them let them turn. The Carrier aka "Whitey" does not always infect people, it's ratio is normally 20%. Infected players will know they are infected because their health symbol will change so keep an eye on it, It's best not to tell everyone your going to turn because it spoils some of the fun to be had. Zombie health regenerates, all be it very slowly. Ammo is very scarce, do not needlessly waste it, i would also advise learning where your drop gun and drop ammo keys are, they are vital controls, you will need to share out ammo if you want to win as humans | |

Unless we gain enough interest to play objectives mode we shall be playing Survival mode, No objectives except live, how you do that is completely up to you. The zombies on the other hand need to kill every human in order to win.
The reason for not playing object mode is because it's incredibly difficult to do when you have experienced players, it would be a nightmare with "new" players

Zombie panic source is a downloadable mod right of steam, last time i checked it a rather large file size so make sure you have plenty of time to download it.
