So, I broke to the pressure, I just bought SC2.
And like any good RTS player, my first thoughts have turned to smash kill stomp. So, we have quite a few Sc2 players on the HH, and I really want to see if there is any interest in a starcraft 2 HH league.
It would be just be a good bit of clean fun, where we can all play some 1v1, and perhaps some 2v2.
So any interest?

Just like to make it clear that we could have an internal league open to anyone that has a a account on the forum, and we could also do external clans wars through iCCup and the like.
it kinda all depends on how many people we get at the end of the day.

Re: StarCraft 2 HH League
Hmm, depending on how it's set up I might be up for joining.

Since you enquired about the format:
I'm thinking it would be done this way, it would be a simply round robin, where everyone plays everyone once. The format for every match would be a Best of 3, perhaps even a best of 5.
The regularity of when the matches would played would depend on many players we get, but right now, I'm thinking once every week, because it gives people time to prepare, and I understand as much as anyone that people have real lives.
So an illustration, in the first week, my opponent is Telgor (I still loves yah), so we would have a whole 7 days to play a best of 3, then in week 2, my opponent was Agent, and I would have a whole 7 days to play him.
By default, the matches would be played on the weekend (lets say sunday). So, for example, if I announced the draws on this coming Sunday, the 14th, all players would have until sunday the 21st to play their first match and so on.
Since there has been some interest in FFA, I'm trying to think of a way that we can work that into some sort of ladder, prob some matches on extinction or hopefully a version of BGH.
Another thing, since don't have divisions, there is no sorta post season event like qualification.
To get around this, I was thinking we can do some sort of team battle format, where the players who got first and second in the league, can take it in turns to pick players for an ultimate showdown most likely consisting of 1v1's, 2v2's, 3v3 and possibly even 4v4.
The sole purpose of that event would be to provide a fitting end to a league, having it just end on the last week, would be a little anticlimactic.
Points format for the league If you win 2:0: 3 points If you win 2:1: 2 points If you lose 1:2: 1 point If you lose 0:2: 0 points
