I think it would be lots of fun and grant us the option to play regulary vs each other instead of playing online vs people you don't know. Think the chances of learning are much better this way too, not to mention that losing vs one of you is easier than losing to some xy guy.

Currently, this would take 11 weeks to play out, are people okay with that?
if not, we could switch it so 2 matches where played every week, so it would only take 5 and half weeks.

I'm going to keep signups open till Saturday, but I think if any more people sign up, and none drop out, we will either have to spilt it into 2 groups, or play 2 matches a week.

My intention is to close signup on saturday, generate the league table and match list on sunday, with next sunday being the deadline for the first matches to be played.

I'm still working on how you fit FFA into a league format, I'm considering just making it an event that we should have one point.
trying to organise brackets which aren't just "one massive 8 player FFA", is a headfuck, so I'l get back to interested people on that.

In my experience FFAs tend to end up being one big rage fest but apart from that it looks good!

Yeah probs would be best to make 2 Divisions of 6 players each and have the first and second places of each play eachother to decide the final #1. Perhaps those 4 in a small 4-man division? Or A1 vs B2 and A2 vs B1, winners of each in a final?
