The Hampshire Heavies 1on1 Tournament got created for one reason: To find out who is the best in the best Community!

So how is this going to work?

Simple. You can sign up in this thread, only in this thread.
The game is placed at Friday evening and you can sign up until Friday afternoon! Each 2nd or 4th week (depends on how many players join) there will be wether a Scout vs. Scout or Soldier vs. Soldier limitation. You will always see the limitation for the current game on top of the thread!

I dont see a reason to prove myself against all these nerds and pros!

Calm down bro! Theres more than just pixelpenis comparison! I am focussing on giving the people a lot of fun playing against their nemesis and finally showing them that they better dont kill them next time on pub! Just be there, enjoy and see some other SICK! plays from the Hampshire Heavie Community Members!

Is there gonna be some prize?

Well of course! What would a tournament be without prizes. The first placed winner will receive the best prize, if its 3 refined, 1 refined or a hat, depends on what I (!) have in my backpack or what people might want to spend to keep this tournament alive for as long as possible.
Second place will always get some random gifts, maybe a reclaimed metal, maybe some weapons, maybe this or that.
But you will NEVER go home without a price!

So how is the game itself gonna work?!

Players sign up, I make a list. Who is gonna play who! This is chosen randomly.
We play MGE MOD on HH5 with Alltalk! The maps you play in the first qualification round are also chosen randomly. After the elimination round, we are going to the quarter/final games etc. to finally decide who is going to win.
All people will play at the same time while the eliminiation round, while the quarter/final games are played everyone else is WATCHING you! So you better buy some big balls to not disappoint the community. Alltalk will be on during the whole game.

Rules

Scout vs. Scout:
- only these unlocks are allowed: "Sandman, Shortstop, Bonk, Holy Mackarel, Boston Basher, Lugermorph"

Soldier vs. Soldier:
- no unlocks allowed.

- leaving a game while still playing against your opponent on purpose (ragequit etc.) will give you a ban for the next 2 tournaments and a bad name in the community.

- starting to insult people or tell them how bad they are (theres a difference between joking and being serious) will give you a ban for the next tournament.

- using unlocks that arent allowed will directly eliminate you from the tournament and give you a ban for the next tournament!

- all hats allowed, because this game is about hats :p

- Max. participing players: unlimited

Someone should add it to the calendar to that it appears on the MOTD/message board/in-game chat.

At some point it night be worth moving this to a different day. Friday, like Saturday, is day when quite a number of people have other things going on.
