I'll point out that anyone voting for Bedizen and Tram has a reason, an ill-considered one perhaps, but still a reason. At the moment any random vote is likely to fall in the mafia's favour, and so I'm tempted to vote Bedizen or Tram. Actually, I'm more likely to vote Tram, since a wise mafioso could hide his 'joke' vote behind Bedizen's, knowing that the first vote would draw all the attention. I'll withhold my vote for now, until I see how this all pans out. |

I'll be posting a list of players who haven't posted at all at 9:50pm, 24 hours after the beginning of Day One. Named and shamed After all, lurking is very suspicious... |

The sheriff hasnt had his opportunity to "investigate" a person yet (or has he sam?), might be an idea to consider seeing if a name comes out of nowhere. |

The Sheriff gets to investigate during the Night. A lot of info has been posted in these last 5 pages, and there's still more to come from the players who haven't had their say yet. |

So day 1 were going to be flying a bit blind based on what people say? Maybe we should ask the people directly and judge their responses? |

The way people speak and vote is really quite illuminating, and there's still more to come. Check out the game theory articles I linked to. Asking questions is good, like 'hey X what do you think of Y?'. |

Why vote no lynch? We've got plenty more townies if we take one out by accident, and if we do something more provocative then maybe the mafia scum will lose some subtlety. Vote Extra_Cold |

1) No 2) Get him out the game early. The sooner we clear them out the better. 3) Target the person with the least votes they are a threat to you. 4) I'd let my good name and honour speak for itself. 5) I'm not the criminal type. I used to be a ballet dancer, what am i going to do? Smother them with my leotard? Vote Agent 47 Trying too hard with the smilies

- During each night a townie will probably die, medic has only a 4% chance to protect the right person - If the serial killer chooses a random victim (very likely), then there is a 66% chance the 2nd victim will also be a townie So every day we vote No Lynch, the balance will move in the mafia's favor. On the other hand, accidentally lynching a townie would be even more dramatic. But I think that's a risk we should take. The worst decision we can make is to not make a decision at all. I am adding Daystar to the top of my list of suspects however. No Lynch being a poor choice, I don't see how that justifies random, unmotivated votes. As such, his reasoning seems more like a (smart) justification to be voting under the aura of randomness. Not in the least because I don't see anything suspicious about Extra_Cold and this was already the target of Bedizen. Vote Daystar |
