HH Mafia: Day Two
Once upon a time...
Schokomesser stood at his bar, towel in hand, drying the final glass of the day. It had been a busy day, business was good, so much better than it'd been under that previous idiot of a bartender.
This place was on its knees when Schokomesser had taken over the establishment and despite the recent news of the Mafia lurking in the area, he felt proud of the work he had done to bring it back to life. Although as always no one acknowledged his hard work.
Placing the final glass onto the shelf he switched off the bar light and went to do a final check on the doors. On his way he stopped at the display cabinet that stood proudly near the door.
His fine collection of medals, worth hundreds of pounds but far more in sentimentality. His father’s medals had started his collection and he had become obsessed with collecting since his teens. He gazed upon the Mons Star, his favourite medal in his collection.
Then all of a sudden there was a screech of tyres in the street. Schokomesser turned to look through the window. Coming down the street at pace was a smart and impressive looking car, impossible to tell what type as the headlights dazzled him.
Slamming on the brakes, the car halted outside the bar, the headlights aiming at his window and lighting his startled face. As the window wound down, Schokomesser made the final breath of his life.
The medal cabinet's glass shattered in a hail of bullets and became red with blood. The window of the car wound back up and the car drove away into the night.
In other news...
TRAGIC MURDER IN HAMPSHIREVILLE PARK The body of Gronon was found in Hampshireville Park early this morning. His body was sliced to shreds, his limbs and entrails spread about the basketball court where he spent so much of his time. A promising student, Gronon was due to study informatic in October. Neighbours remembered him vaguely as ‘a very funny person, who loves to laugh and make little jokes’. Police are investigating, but so far have no leads.
Schokomesser has been murdered by the Mafia. He was a vanilla Townie. Gronon has been murdered by the Serial Killer. He was a vanilla Townie.

In the meanwhile, David is blissfully unaware of the recent murders or is he?, busy as always with his vivid imagination and the stories it produced. It was not until later, when he was out buying the grocery, that he heard the local gossip from some of the other inhabitants of the town. Two people had been murdered overnight! The news were shocking at first, but he felt no worry nor any concern of his own well being as he reasoned that the people that had been murdered probably were just some drug dealers. Why would anyone go after him? He has not much of value and he doesn't take any interest in any illegal activities, there's no logic reason for anyone to come for him!
And thus, he sat down on his chair at home and began to write his next story, one involving an unlikely trio consisting of two males of different species and a goddess of Hate, murder and deceit. Who says that a goddess has to support what she represents? Can't a goddess of hate have a kind heart and a gentle soul?
Yes... That would make an interesting story, he thought. And so, the second day began in Hampshireville...
Hmm, it seems I owe Tram an apology. Looking at the number of people who jumped on him after the Bedizen vote lost popularity, possibly to try and avoid the vote going to Extra, my guess is he may be innocent all along. Since I was actively campaigning for him to be lynched, I apologise.
Perhaps we should look at some of the people who voted for him near the end of the last day?

The lone samurai was walking in the park of Hampshireville and happens to stumble upon an abandoned today's newspaper. The paper reports two murders that took place last night. "Hmph, Schoko and Extra were the only source of sake in this town and they always had some odd jobs for me to do." and then: "With the Mafia and serial killer on the loose, the park might not be the safest place to spend my nights in... Must look for a better shelter". He was sure he could defend himself against an attacker in a straight fight, but he did not want to die to a surprise attack when he least expected it. "Now, let's see if anyone would like their grass cut in exchange for breakfast", he thought.
I think it is a bit suspicious that gronon got killed by the serial killer seeing as he was the second smallest poster in day 1. It would make sense for the serial killer to target the quiet ones to keep low profile, but this raises the question why wasn't fr3ddie, the lowest post count killed? Just a thought.

Aww I'll miss Gronon, he was one of the regular visitors to my museum. What tragic news, both of these deaths. We'll have to really analyse the clues to get the right culprit because last time we just got lucky!
And Agent 47, I feel that Gronon was maybe killed because of his unhelpful attitude as well as his low post count? However I don't really know what sort of stuff fr3ddie posted, I don't even remember seeing his posts.
Hm, Bedizen was the first to vote, without decent explanation, and looked very suspiciuos to me. But now we know more, Bedizen voted for Extra_Cold, who turned out to be maffia. If Bedizen were mafia as well, making the very first vote on a fellow mobster sounds like a very unlikely action. If he is maffia, then I'd say it was pure genious to make such a bold move, because everyone will probably think he's innocent now. But I'm just going to assume he's a townie (or serial killer).
1 maffia dead, 2 townies dead. Seems like we haven't made much progress after all.
Guess it's time to analyze everyone's comments and voting patterns from day 1, with the extra knowledge we now obtained.

You would owe Tram an apology if he had been lynched and turned out innocent. But Extra_Cold being mafia, what does that change about Tram being innocent or not ? For me, he's still on my suspects list. Then again, he's not the only one.
