Welcome to mafia day 5.

First, the victims
(since the writers failed to submit the death stories I had to make these up in 5 mins).

Patch fretted that night, it had not been a good day.
The butcher had given him pork instead of beef.
The newsagent had short changed him for "The daily lynchness"
and he had been accused of being part of the mafia wave.

He gazed upon his exquisite collection of top hats and chose a purple trimmed one, the orange glow of the townies torches growing steadily brighter as they neared his 2 bedroom cottage.

He sighed, things used to be so simple, then the world went and got itself paranoid. It had been the thing that had driven him to do what he had done for the past few nights, what needed to be done.

He sighed again as he opened his front door to the large mob of shouty strangers outside "please come in" he said as he lit his oaken pipe.


Patch has been lynched by the town, he was a Townie - SERIAL KILLER



Diakun gazed out over the fields behind his house, it had been a terrible week, a dozen people dead, more missing, and even more scared. The mafia were slowly taking over this town and despite his best efforts he could do nothing to stop it.

The people had grown unruly in their panic, and there was nought he could do now but wait for the reprisal. There was a knock at the door, he poured himself a glass of whisky and opened it, showing a wan smile at the 3 large gentlement bearing semi automatic pistols at his chest.

The car ride was cramped, but the travel itself was not unpleasant, virtue of the high quality leather seats the mafia had clearly spared no expense in. He glanced at the men either side of him and felt a sense of peace. No more would he have to spend sleepless nights over the fate of his town, no more would he try to convince people in vain that others were upstanding citizens, all that awaited him now was a well deserved rest

So for that reason, the required vote count is 7 AND no lynching will be instigated until 7pm saturday gmt, so play smart.

Accuse, badger, or otherwise try to coax the mafia out. Failing to lynch a mafia tonight will probably mean a loss for the townies, so vote carefully!!

At least we got Patch right, somehow.

We do need to be really careful with the voting on this one.

I always thought the Serial killer was on the townie side as he was the only method we had of getting Mafia killed to which the Mafia couldn't affect themselves. But oh well. We lost our Sheriff too, which probably came as no surprise after the Medic died.

42% of the remaining townies are Mafia. At this moment I can only trust Cuddles as (at least I think that's what Diakun meant) the sheriff said he is a townie.

Well, we're pretty much screwed by this point aren't we :/.

This is where the Mafia say practically nothing at all and jump onto the first vote that comes up to force it. Simple scary math.

One innocent townie vote in the wrong place, all 6 mafia jump on, BAM! they then control the town.

And the only people amongst us that had the notes to hand to work it out are long since buried.

Yeah I'd definitely not go with voting Cuddles at this point either man, we've dug ourselves a pretty deep hole.

So for the reasons I said yesterday and since I was pretty right about Patch,

Remember there will be no lynch until Saturday. I suggest holding your votes until nearer the time. As DarkVVulf mentioned, once the deadline comes if all the honest townies aren't in agreement, the mafia can decide who they want dead. Having said that, i do support the iRPAx vote.

Good job on getting Patch everyone, nothing could be done about Diakun after he outed himself though. We have to be very careful now, any false move and we are done for.

Got to echo what everyone has said, this is by far the most important vote of the game so far.

As the only one mentioned so far, what has iRPAx got to say to defend himself?

However grand job on getting Patch, although it doesn't make up for losing Diakun, it at least almost balances the situation for us.

Even though patch ended up being serial killer, I find it interesting that he gained like 4 votes suddenly at the end of day 4...

Hmm actually would of liked it the serial killer was still around, given us townies a better chance of out numbering the mafia.
