Post Marcuso's guide to teamwork
Hi,im Marcuso
I've played in a lot of ff2 server and i noticed that one of the most annoying problem on this serve is the cop0letely absence of teamwork,so i want to make this guide to help new players to fight the boss and help your teammates:

Scout:Scout is a good bait because he is fast and he will be hard to catch:ask to an allied scout to bait the boss on a sticky trap,it will probably work.
The most usefull weapon for the scout are the force a nature, the mad milk, and the sandman:
The force a nature's knockback can help a stunned teamate to escape from the boss, the sandman can stun the boss when thr boss rage and the mad milk can heal you and your teammates.

Soldier:soldier is one of the 3 principal offensive classes(soldier demo and pyro)and the battalion backups can be very usefull to the team, advice your teammates before using it so they can go near you and get the buff.
You can also help medic to reach high spots thanx to your rocketjump.

Pyro:pyro's damage are very high but one of most usefull help to your teammates is the airblast:
With the airblast you can protect stunned teamamates and sentries, not only yourself.

Demo:demo's loose cannon and sticky bombs knockback can help stunned teammates too, thats why a sticky bomb demo can be as usefull as a demoknight.

Hoovy and engineers:i think these 2 must fight togheter, here's my tactic:
Engies and heavies limit is 4,so we need 2 squad composed by 2 engies and 2 heavies each.
1 engie builds a dispenser and the other 1 builds an amplifier,so the heavies has infinite ammo and crits.
A critted heavy has high famage and knockback and is a very pain in the ass for the boss.

Medic:
UBERCHARGE PRIORITY LIST:
Scout-middle:a scout can easily escape from a boss untill he is stunned, crits also can help him for some extra damages.
pyro-high:a phlogistinator using pyro is an easy target for the boss, ubercharge him for very high damages.
Soldier-high:a critted soldier can charge the battalion backup very fastly.
heavy-high:a critted immortal heavy is the bosses worst nightmare
engineer-low:engineer should be ubercharged only if the boss is about to kill them.
Demo-low:demoknights don't needs crits and the shield can help them, ubercharge them only if they lost theyr shield.A critted stickybombs are very usefull also.
Sniper-low:ubercharge them only if a boss is near them.
Spy-low:ubercharge only after a succesfull backstab.
other medics:uber them to help them to charge.

Sniper:sniper's basic rifle can help the team a lot thx to theit effects.
Build a sentry near the sniper so it can alarm a sniper if a boss is near them.

Spy:the most problematic classes in ff2 is the spy, everytime i try to backstab an ally knockback the boss away.
Keep attention to the spies an try to bait the boss and help them.

Nice guide :). But ubering spies (that can actually backstab) are great, puts hale under alot of trouble.

Oh and spy is a great class, just backstab the hale when he's focusing on someone (not yourself). And the knockback that other players do is okay, predict where the hale will be sent to.

Also another tactic to use is if you are being chased by the hale, try to jump just before he hits you so you can surf away from the knockback (this only works for classes with high health or that have some sort of damage reduction like dead ringer spies, soldiers, demomen etc).

I'm horrible at scout, soldier, pyro, heavy, spy, demo, medic, sniper and
engi. Not even mentioning being a hale

Yeah...
Maybe...
But as Medic (i think i have quite experience in it)...
It try to focus healing good players... or the one that acknoledge you!
Cause there is people that doesn't care about their medic and will leave you to death or make you charge or jump to your death...

Now on my side, i have no shame to let people die if there just fight carelessly after an ubbercharge (that will make you share his fate if you stay)! The best medic is a medic alive!

If you stick on someone... try to make him understand you'll cover him...
The covered... try to make your escape route before the end of the ubbercharge!

If there is no good players, try to use your Ubber to save people cornered, stun by rage... or even better, trap TP or slow-motion boss! Sometime i just ubber the ones about be hit in a full melee... and that work fine!

But the problem is that some people only think about damage... as team... you should prioritize surviving, you and the others over damage!

On the other side, there is the way to focus on damage with medic...
The pocket medic!
Really efficient... but it's just duo (or trio) stuff... that doesn't help the whole team...
But with good mate, really good at pyro, heavy, soldier, spy, demoman or engi (try out the widow maker), it's an advanced teamplay that will nearly always make you on the top boarder!

Then again Llamara, you often abandon perfectly good people when your uber has finished and both of you could easily survive!

Not salty or anything :)

I'd also add that loose cannon demomen and pyros can be a real nuisance for classes that require accuracy as they often knockback the boss in inconvenient ways. If you're a pyro and the boss uber rages, it might not be the best idea to keep airblasting, as this increases the boss' rage and the length of their uber. Don't constantly airblast as a pyro as it can be harmful (and generally is, can't count the number of times a pyro has killed me as a spy by airblasting the boss behind me when I'm about to stab him).

Also true! But escaping at the end of a ubber is the best way not to be raged...
To survive (as medic)! I never said that is wasn't leaving good players!
Just, good players think about escapig before the end of the ubber (most of the time)!
A skilled Hale just wait for the end of the ubber... so... i act smart!

Sometime, if both of us just go different way... that make only one sometime raged and/or killed (if he failed to escape)!
After that just depend on my mood or skype teamplaying!
Pocketing or full support!
