The problem is not the latespawn by itself,
doing it at the end of a round, doing it on purpose to have crits advantage or to troll with a jumping class IS!

One fact is, when doing that, there is no low damage slay...
So you can troll fearless about that... sometime the boss can't even do a shit!

Another fact is the 2min time is still on, even there is 2 left (cause of the +1 latespawner did it just after the 2nd last survivor kill), for some boss, it's a death sentence for variable reasons!

And the last fact is, it can be on purpose, doing it artificially...
Putting yourselves on spec mode in the begining of the round (or before it begin, at the end of the previous, i never tried it)!
Just because they want and like being the last one (cause of the previous explanations)!

AS example:
Spekkie (NL) abusing it most of the time!

So, i don't even know how we can deal with that...
But the fact people are pissed,
that's an abuse,
that's not even fair-play for the ones that have play the whole round,
and that's wasting time and game pleasure...
cause being trolled in the end as boss when you were focusing on some class the whole round to avoid it by strategy (killing/raging annoying scouts as example)...
The latespawner ruining it all...

Something need to be done at least!

Many thanks for taking the time to report this, Llamara. I agree it's definitely undesired and selfish behaviour. It's something that I've noticed in the past and it's a shame if it's becoming more common again. I did try and work out away to combat it automatically early last year, but due to the spawning ability of some Bosses and the fact that it's annoying to have to spend time writing stuff to deal with idiots, I put it on the back-burner.

Hmm ok, I just dug out the old code and a fresh idea some how arrived in my head. I've trashed it out and put it on the server. Please let me know how it goes. It's possible that unnecessary suicides might occur, I've probably not thought through all the consequences and conditions.

Regardless of all that, we do need a few level headed admins on that server. It's probably time we looked at this thread... viewtopic.php?f=72&t=10731
