It´s not only latespawn that´s the only problem. The 2 min timer can still be abused by running around as a scout just to waste time on purpose and hard to be touched.
yeah you may be thinking about rage regen will solve it? no, sometime then you try to rage
the scout,he can managed to get to a safe spot and you have to superjump to reach him, but then his stun will be removed and we´re back in cat chasing mouse game. also some hales like Herobrine doesn´t even have rage regen so you´re stuck with nothing but the bow to shoot him, which is based on luck,(or aim skill).

Also on some larger maps the 2 min timer doesn´t even appear.

The problem isn't the standard timer, the problem is people being selfish/idiotic/a pointless waste of time.

Where possible I've written all manner of plugins to deal with this kind of thing, the low damage slayer being the most effective as a general catch all.

However, with the huge variety of bosses and maps, it's not really possible to write something for all the particular map and boss specific situations to deal with idiots.

That's why there is vote slay.

If that doesn't work, then name names of repeat offenders.

Hum... i don't really see where you're going wiseman...

For the timer...
-Sometime it doesn't appear for some bosses or maps
-Some Bosses don't have rage Regen with scouts (only) when they are 1 or 2 only left
-Under 2K health left, there is no timer

So... some ideas:

-Maybe that should be a good idea to give specifics feedbacks about bosses/maps relative to the timer (that could help to fix that)!

-The rage Regen is only for scouts... but they're not the only ones that can be really annoying like that (soldiers and pyro too)... maybe an extend to other classes could help!

-Also, the rage regen should be available with more than 4/5 people AND a boss under 2K health (most of the time that's just death sentence, no rage with 0 to 2k Health and a lot of people)! It could help to give, at least, bravery to the hale to try to fight back (some bosses can't do a shit without rages)!
But that's maybe too much to ask!

mm sure, but things like the low damage slayer will problably not work because scouts like spekkie and other who tries to replicate her only need some dmg or gomba stomps(which has become OP recently) and voteslay will most likely not work.

Also maybe one of Lamara ideas may work.

It doesn't work like that, it's completely dynamic based on the number of people on the server, the current boss and multiple timed damage and health variables. I'm not going to explain exactly how it works, just in case someone tries to game it.

What am I thinking.... I forgot about the whole CP stigma.

This is what the control point is for. The control point is only enabled in particular situations and this is one of them.

If someone is wasting time and not actually putting up a fight, then capture the point.

"OMG NO! don't cap! don't cap!" should not be the default response. It's what it's there for. There is nothing wrong with using it to terminate a round as a last resort when it's actually your only hope of winning, or if someone is not entering into the spirit of the game.

good idea, but i tested that then it was 1 vs 1 and it said that hale is blocked from cap the point due to high hp

The cp is broken, as a hale can only cap when it becomes active, but if you get off it...you can't ever cap again!

I've added an extra condition that enables the control point for the Boss, if the last few players are scouts that haven't inflicted enough damage.
