Instead of removing the taunt, I think about some ways to make it harder to get the hale stuck forever.
- Giving the ability of teleport right after you get the damage from the taunt, so you get away from the second taunt (like when you fall off from a map, you get the Super Jump). I guess giving Super Jump to the hales that don't teleport could also be an option here, but the real problem is with the teleport hales.
- Give 33% rage to the hale on every taunt hit, so he can rage out of the way on 4 hits (I have seen hales move free from the huntsman with a rage).
- Make the snipers be unable to taunt when they are stunned (either from rage or ghosts from some maps). This one can be used with the idea from before, to make sure hales get away and kill the sniper.
I mean, getting the timing to use this taunt is actually hard because of hale range (add the ping from the hale) or the placement of the player (you don't always taunt on the direction you wanted to). It's a hard chance to pull, with high profit.
I managed to pull the taunt on few attempts, even when hales couldn't move after they teleport to me (I was one of those snipers on crevice, just waiting, and failed there) or when they chase you on small corridors.
Most of the succesful attempts I have made where on nova, and even after getting them, people push the hale away and got me killed. xD
I saw donthewhale stunning a hale 5 times in a row with a single ball from the sandman, or ubered heavies using the holyday punch. Both can also make it harder for the hale because they get stunned and I don't see the complains about them.
If one of the options make it to be on the server, I only think about Heavy Sauce, Doom and Predator to be the hales that can get problems getting away from a hunstman, since they don't have a stun rage. I don't know if others don't too.

I only want to say... It's even Harder and Risky, with lower reward to pull out this taunt... Than doing a TP kill with support of sentries! Mates even ruin everything most of the time with knockback after 1 or 2 taunt! I respect the one managing to pull it out!
Could we think back a bit about it?
