See title. Though I, a Linux user, can still make do with an exe file, it would be nice if we could have a zip, a rar, or another compressed version, too.

Only such a minuscule proportion of players use Mac OS or Linux (maybe 2%) that if time was spent making that pack, there's a chance it would never be used by anyone that couldn't make do with the exe.

I can't say I didn't expect that reply even if I don't agree with the reasoning.

Use 7zip to extract the files from the .exe

7zip is available for all platforms that steam supports.

I don't even need 7zip, it actually works with the built-in unzipper program, too.
