So over the course of two weeks or so, I've been coming up with ideas for 18 hales, focusing on unrepresented series in FF2, which ranges from Metal Gear Solid to Adventure Time. I'm not entirely clear on how models work, so I linked GMOD ones that should be transferrable to TF2 (I have a feeling it's not that simple though). Also, I tried to be creative with the hales, so apologies if they're too OP or complicated to be plausibly added.

Ness ~ Earthbound

“Show these mercs the strength of your PSI Power!”

Hale Type: A glass cannon, this psychic kid uses his Atomizer and his mind-tearing special ability to erase his foes.



Finn the Human ~ Adventure Time

“Algebraic!”

Hale Type: Accompanied by his famous nonsensical quotes, Finn proves to be an agile warrior, slashing his enemies down for the glory of Ooo.



Mami Tomoe ~ Puella Magi Madoka Magica

“Mercs stole Bebe’s cheese? Not on my watch!”

Hale Type: Unique in the combination of a ranged weapon + entangle, this magical girl is armed to protect her head from the dessert-thieving RED team.



Popeye ~ Popeye The Sailor

“The mercs have taken Olive Oyl hostage! Teach them a nutritious lesson they'll never forget!”

Hale Type: Appearing slow and weak at first glance, his rage turns him into a raging sea!



Goku ~ Dragon Ball

“Time for some training! (Superman won’t know what will hit him next time!)”

Hale Type: Arguably the most well-known anime character, Goku is packing his signature move as a rage, the devastating Spirit Bomb!



Captain Falcon ~ F-Zero

“Show me your moves!”

Hale Type: Speed is the name of the Falcon's game, using his powerful Falcon Punch and Blue Falcon to crush the competition.



Lucina ~ Fire Emblem Awakening


"Awaken your Blade!"

Hale Type: A typical swordfighter, Lucina has a unique niche in her rage granting her guaranteed crits.



Cloud Strife ~ Final Fantasy VII

“I'm... Cloud. The master of my own illusionary world.”

Hale Type: He can easily cut down hordes of mercs with his Buster Sword, but his slow speed makes it hard for him to reach them outside of range.



Little Mac ~ Punch-Out!!

“I think I hear chocolate bar calling...”

Hale Type: Just like in Smash Bros, Little Mac dominates on the ground, but faces imminent defeat if airborne.



Godzilla ~ Godzilla

“SKREEONK!”

Hale Type: Very much like a clone of Mummy, this King of Kaijus differs in its ranged rage.


Mega Man ~ Mega Man (Classic)

“THE SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT!”

Hale Type: The unpredictability of the identity of Mega Man's secondary will leave the mercs more often than not unprepared for this boss.



Issac Clarke ~ Dead Space

"Nicole …”

Hale Type: This galactic engineer uses his Plasma Cutter to slice apart mercs and can attract the infamous zombie aliens to assist him in their similar goals.



Harry Potter ~ Harry Potter

“Ur a Wizard, Harry - Hagrid”

Hale Type:



Isaac ~ Binding of Isaac

“Gotta keep running from Mama ... ”

Hale Type:



Female Inkling ~ Splatoon

“You’re a Squid now, You’re a Kid now!”

Hale Type: This cute cephalopod child is a ranged glass cannon that can turn the tides with her crushing rage.



Link ~ Legend of Zelda

“HYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Hale Type: Similar to CBS, except this Hyrulian Warrior starts with the Huntsman to put on the pressure immediately



Solid Snake ~ Metal Gear Solid

“The mercs have found you! Time to dispatch them ..."

Hale Type: With an emphasis on stealthy kills, the soldier that makes the impossible possible can possibly destroy an entire army by weeding out the stragglers one by one.



Gray Mann ~ Team Fortress 2

"It seems like I should finish what I've started..."

Hale Type: Showing his technical prowess, Gray Mann can destroy an engineer’s career with one fell swoop and summon his money-powered robotic minions to assist in the clean-up.

I don't like shooting you down for your efforts here, but ideas are not what we have a shortage of when it comes to producing new hales, the bottleneck is the model in most cases.

You seem to have a lot of ideas. I only have a very vague idea about balance in FF2 so I can't really comment on the viability of any of the bosses.

But the characters are cool.

As of Snake, he exists but not on the server currently, as of Gray Mann... I think a freind named Shadow/Koishi has been working on him forever, it doesn't support the current version this server has though

And Popeye and Captain Falcon exist, both up for public download. Lets just wait till Frog gets back before we post what hales we want to be added

Not sure if he'll work on your FF2 fork (it's v1.07-based right? My fork is based on 1.10.4) though once i can manage to get him out of development hell.

Oh that's actually a pretty cool looking boss.
