Sorry, but I'm with Night / Dayal here. From my time playing here, it's been the same loadouts and playstyles time and time again. I can't believe people are not getting bored of it.
For example, before any weapon changes, the only viable demoknight sword was the eyelander. After, every sword is now viable in regular gameplay. It opens up many alternatives for people to play around with.
It seems to me that people are just uptight with their playstyle as it's probably the only thing they're good at.
No, people are uptight because of lots of changes major were not satisfied about. We've seen how some of the weapons has gone and some of them are changing the gameplay of how FF2 always uses to be. And as well there are too many changes at once which makes is able to give less feedback about recent weapon changes because you have something to say about every weapon changes you did not like and yet this weapon update was rushed.

No-one is stopping you from giving your opinions on the weapon changes. I'm sure they will be taken into consideration. Nothing is concrete here.
The only reason why the BB is so op is because it works like sort of a free group uber and you only need to hold mouse2 and wait to be raged to waste the hales rage for nothing and that multiple soldiers can use it at the same time and in fact its area is a little to big.
Tribalman's shiv: is now just: 50% damage penalty, 20 sec of bleed (is something like 300 damage overall I think) Battalion's Backup: Deploy speed decreased to +150% Eyelander: +15% slower deploy and holster time has been removed Spy watches: A change has been made so that the normal spy cloak doesn't give a massive speed boost for 3 seconds, but how damage taken is done is probably still somewhat wonky, will need testing on this. Big Earner: speedboost on backstab reduced to 8 seconds

Ah so that's the name of game that's being played half of the time on HH4.

Mizuki and I tested it. The speed is gone but doesn't reduce the damage when cloacked.
And why shouldn't I be asked regarding weapon balance? May I remind you that a good part of these weapon changes came from the Nightwatch server, and barely anyone complained about these changes there.
Well, I didn't really like every changes in Nightwatch but you were the owner while I still was suggesting some changes to you. You changed stuff like disabling shield breaks to make demos use variety of melees than most of them using Eyelanders which resulted in negative feedback for removing something FF2 always mains.
And the reason why barely people complain is, because the server were almost always empty and the times we invited people, people are not going to complain about weapons as the first.
Sorry for trying to do something different compared to other servers. Sorry for not knowing how to make regenerative shields back in the day. Sorry for being tired of seeing and using the same Demoknight loadout over and over again. People can adjust, but apparently that is too much to ask for. If it's adjusting in an unfair way, then I can understand it. But I haven't seen anyone here giving a reasonable explanation as to why these weapon changes are unfair. Have you tested them properly? I'm aware of the Shiv's major influence and even I agreed that it was too much.
How long were those weapon changes there? 3-4 months? Seems like a reasonable amount of time to give some feedback on it, even if the server wasn't always populated. How long are these weapon changes here? 5 days. And everyone is already pissed at me because they don't like changes to weapons they never use.

Suggesting to make the reserve shooter an alternative incendiary shotgun. Only pyro and soldier can equip it and most soldier won't give up banners or mobility tools for an hitscan, it also have a reduced clip, the minicrit mechanic can just go Right now there is no reason to run a shotgun as pyro over any flare.
About the buff banner, i don't think a slower deploy speed can change anything. The banner is easly filled cause soldier can just stand still, taunt and auto aim their crit rockets, it's a fact and it's how most people play soldier. Suggesting removing crits on taunt for soldiers or the easy aim thing. Or an hp penality for using the banner, instead of giving +20 hp should be -10hp, making soldier a one hit kill for most hales.
I don't think wanga prick and yer give silent decloak

I've seen VS Ponyville added that feature for the Reserve Shooter and crits vs burning players cause of the update which majority disliked. Well, about your suggestion is that adding hitscan weapons is a bad idea in any way because you can't dodge it while being set on fire and can be set on fire across the map which is too much.
You still can run the Shotgun instead of the Flare because the it's poor to attack directly against the boss compared to the Shotgun and especially against Pyro bosses who's not able to set fire. It can be a good combination with the Degreaser where you use the Shotgun the most and airblast when the boss gets close.
The Shotgun can be added a few tweaks so people can be more interested in using it. A few suggestions like +20% bullets per shot, +15% damage bonus, something like that.
