Often I use the Hampshire Heavies FF2 server. I use it because the people are usually nice, friendly etc. Well today I joined the FF2 server played on it for a good 30 minutes then I noticed lots of people were getting "Gagged" for no reason. Unfortunately I was one to be gagged. It's either a abusive admin or a player. I know alot of people who also got gagged. I liked your FF2 server ALOT, I play it mostly every day. Now that I can't talk to all my friends on your server. I'm pretty pissed. Do something about this

You are not the only one. Someone is going around in the TF2 servers and abusing the command.

It was definitely not an admin doing this. It seems to me that there is some kind of a problem with the plugin normally used to gag mic spammers. Unfortunately our maintenance person is away for a week or so and I myself lack the skills to undo the damage.

Please try to bear with it for the time being. Feel free to use our mumble server with your friends for communicating if it helps.

must be the config or something. I popped on the server saturday morning and was gagged I think.

as I mentioned on the thread i added on the subject, continious !votegaggin of the same person could apparently result in the gags stacking up and occuring randomly (I have this problem), however I have one person that was assaulting me with votegags, aswell as many others, that surely will be banned as soon as Frog comes back as me and some other HH regs that I've talked to will talk to him about it. Untill then the gag will most likely be removed from you shortly

Was able to talk yesterday before I went to bed. Logged in today and I'm gagged again.

This is strange. It could be a more than just gagging trolls but a bug across the mod and the new content that was provided when frog was away.

I'll run a defrag and content check on my game to see if it fixes the bug because I'm sure I've just not be gagged overnight.

I get the same, most likely someone spammed the command on you, like they did to me and some others :S I am gagged every time I join the server anyways now though...

I've been ungagged but it might not stay like that for long.
