New death pop ups

I'm finding then quite annoying when I'm trying to aim and they get in the way of my shot so is there a way for it to be disabled?

Looking at that it would be possible to not get the text to pop up on your screen if

Was set lower. I imagine Frog's just left it default, easy fix.

Distance and time are set much lower than default.
