Post Kicked due to inactivity
As we all know, FF2 results in a few deaths, and those who aren't using ghost may just sit back and watch, only to find themselves kicked and their points reset.
Whilst it's obviously a good system for opening up slots and getting rid of actual inactives, it is a bit of a pain to have your points reset because you were bored of spectating.

I do not know enough to make a valid technical suggestion, but is there some way to make points remain for re-connecting kicked players or some such witchcraft?

To clarify the reason for posting this is mainly from a few complaints I noticed whilst playing.

It's difficult getting an AFK manager to work in a satisfactory way with an FF2 server. It's still being tweaked.

However, your points are not reset when you are AFK kicked. They are retained in a database, and are only reset when either you play as a boss, or if you are a late survivor that has done zero damage to the boss.

Thanks for clearing that up, I never really had that issue but I now have closure about how the server treats inactivity :)

Hopefully, you'll find that it is a little more lenient now.

same here, i see a lot lot of peaople come back after being kicked while they were not touching their mouse but still participate in chat those guy become really  after came back they were saying that theire point have been reset. I test it myself, avout 3-4 week before this post and if you chat but not clicking/moving with your mouse you will be considarated afk kicked out and a message said to the other that you've been kicked and your points been reset, tought i wasn't looking if my point were actually reset

aniway this afk manager really annoye me, i sometime after died chat in steam and when time passed and i forget to move my mouse i'm kicked

i suggest that your make a vote kick if possible manage be reg as their nearly always at least 3 for icking those afk, of course it will make the risk of abused kick, well you decide

or at least add more time would be good but still the problem would still existed.

cordially
